Certification at the MySQL Users Conference

If you are planning to take a certification exam at the MySQL Users conference next week, please bring a laptop with WiFi and plan to come early! Testing will be in the Magnolia Room by the escalators in the Hyatt Lobby from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM starting Tuesday.

The exams are online which means you will need a laptop.

And this year there is a limit of 250 exams total. Once that hard limit is reached, there will be no more exams given at the UC in 2010. So do not wait to the last minute to finish off that certification.

Is it USD$25 cash-only per exam?

Which exams are being offered?

You will need a credit card to pay for the exams.

You will be able to take the exams for the Associate, DBA 5.0, DBA 5.1, Developer 5.0 and Cluster DBA certifications.

You will need a laptop with Wifi.

And you will need to remember only 250 exams TOTAL will be provided. So if you wait to test, you may be out of luck!

Good luck to all of you testing at the MySQL Users Conference!!

How do we / can we preregister? If so where. I'm signed up for the two Prep sessions. As a new DBA I'd like to get certified.

Hi Mark -- Sorry, no preregistration. With the lat organizational start and the software used for testing, there is no way to have a fair preregistration system. Sorry!

Kai's sessions are outstanding and you will learn a great Deal form them. Good luck!!
