Hi Dave,
On the MySQL website, it says that the publish date of the book is in June 2008. See: http://dev.mysql.com/doc/ccsg-errata.html
But on the Vervante books website, it says that the date published is May 27, 2008.
Question: Is this the same Second Edition of the book?

The Vervante published book is the second addition. I believe the confusion is due to the demand publishing aspect of their business.
